How do card dealers track profit at shows?+
Most use a spreadsheet and a guess. cardVendo stores what you paid for every card, records each sale and trade at the table, and shows the margin on every card and the total profit for each show after table fees. Export it to a spreadsheet whenever you need it.
Does cardVendo work without wifi?+
Selling does. Sales and trades made with no signal wait on your phone and sync when you are back online, which is how most convention halls behave. Scanning a card and looking up prices need a connection.
Does cardVendo process credit cards?+
No. It records how each sale was paid (cash, card, Venmo and so on) and tracks the money. Keep the card reader or register you already use.
Which games are supported?+
Scanning works for Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, and One Piece. Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh and other games can be added by hand with your own name, set and price.
Where do the market prices come from?+
Public card catalogs: the Pokémon TCG API, Scryfall for Magic, and optcgapi for One Piece. Prices are estimates for reference, and you can override any value.
Can I export my sales data?+
Yes. Export your inventory or your sales as a CSV or Excel file for Google Sheets or your accountant. Starter and Pro include export.
